Our Board of Directors

Anthony Trimble

CEO and Chair

Anthony Trimble is a distinguished leader in security operations and incident response, bringing over a decade of experience and a strong academic approach to Cyte Security. He holds an MBA from UC Davis, and an MPH from Tulane University. A Certified Emergency Manager Anthony possesses a comprehensive understanding of critical incident response and strategic planning.

Anthony's career reflects bold action, resourceful collaboration, and empowering leadership, making him an ideal CEO and Board Chair. His impactful prior roles include serving as a Section Chief on FEMA’s Incident Management Assistance Team, leading federal interagency incident response efforts. His previous leadership roles included Deloitte Consulting, Pacific Gas and Electric, the National Nuclear Security Administration, and the New Orleans Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. His service in the United States Marine Corps further instilled a "bias for action" and provided specialized skills, all of which will be instrumental in guiding Cyte Security's strategic vision.

Simon Cruz

Chief Executive Officer, Double Tap Training Center

With over 25 years dedicated to law enforcement and public safety, Simon Cruz brings invaluable expertise to the Cyte Security Board of Directors. His extensive qualifications include numerous International, Federal, and State Law Enforcement Instructor certifications from prestigious organizations such as the NRA, DOJ, POST, FBI, BSIS, DHS, and IALEFI.

Since 2014, Mr. Cruz has played a vital role on the Advisory Board Committee for the State of California's Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS), where he represents Firearm & Baton Training Facilities. 


Beyond his official duties, he is a prolific thought leader, contributing articles and product reviews to various prominent publications. His deep experience and industry leadership significantly strengthen our board.

Paul Kennedy

Paul Kennedy is a distinguished global strategic security and crisis response leader with extensive experience safeguarding individuals, assets, and facilities for both elite government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. 

Throughout his career, Paul has held significant leadership positions, including Head of Global Physical Security at Alteryx, Vice President - Corporate Security at NFI, and Senior Vice President - Enterprise Security & Surveillance at Caesars Entertainment Corporation. Prior to his corporate roles, he served over two decades with the U.S. Department of State as a Supervisory Special Agent, leading protective security operations in high-risk environments like Iraq and serving as Regional Security Director for Africa.


Paul's expertise encompasses global threat assessment, policy development, security technology modernization, executive protection, and comprehensive crisis response.

Bill Dunne

Board Member

Director of Security, Keck Medicine USC

As the Director of Security at Keck Medical Center of USC, Bill Dunne brings over 23 years of invaluable experience in comprehensive security and safety management.

Bill's impressive career includes significant roles at Penn State Health and, notably, 14 years at UCLA Health System. There, as Administrative Director of Environmental Health & Safety, Security, and Emergency Preparedness, he was instrumental in developing safety visions and strategies to ensure the health system upheld the highest safety and regulatory standards. 

Bill holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Emergency Health Services from the University of Maryland, along with a Master of Arts in Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School. His deep knowledge and strategic leadership will be invaluable to Cyte Security.
